About Paula Powers

Paula PowersPaula Powers is the President and founder of Power Training & Development. After a successful career implementing employee development and performance improvement programs at Xerox Corporation and the Boeing Company, she started Power Training and Development. It was clear after helping Taco Bell develop a comprehensive Restaurant General Manager Training curriculum which included self-study components, that the franchise industry and Paula were a good match.

Since her initial project with Taco Bell she has worked with a wide range of franchise clients from restaurant concepts, to home-based franchises, to retail stores.

Paula has served as chairperson of the Orange County chapter of ASTD's Training and Technology Special Interest Group (SIG), has served on the board of the local chapters of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and the Organization Development Network (ODN).

Paula shares her professional experiences by serving as adjunct faculty to Southern Illinois University, University of California – Irvine Extension, and Chapman University. She believes in giving back to the

She is a Supplier Forum Member of the Internations Franchise Association and member of the associations' membership committee.

Ms. Powers received her B.S. in Education from the University of Illinois and her M.A. from Pepperdine University.
